Birds Galore is a website dedicated to the diverse world of birds species on our planet. According to BirdLife International, there are about 11,000 species of birds on the Earth at this moment, but we’ve picked out some of the more interesting ones to showcase that fall into three different categories: Cute, cool, and creepy.
This website was created and is run by Samantha Murphy to showcase her passion for birds. This passion stems from her love for dinosaurs and her feathery friend, a Senegal parrot named Kiwi. As of April 2025, he’s been by her side for the past seventeen years since he was six months old.
Kiwi can be a little terror who acts like his prehistoric dinosaur ancestors, but he’s also a sweet bird who loves chatting, yelling, dancing, and napping. Below are two pictures and a video that showcase some of his personality.
